Hello, my name is Christine Thorn and I WELCOME you to my website and the Connecticut Center for Universal Reflexology.  I hope you will find it interesting and informative.  Let me begin by telling you a little bit about myself and the services I offer.

In 1987, I graduated with a B.S. degree from St. Joseph's College in West Hartford, Connecticut.  Ever since I was a young girl I wanted to be a Chiropractor, so following undergraduate college, I attended NY Chiropractic College in 1990.  My approach in practice is to treat the body, mind, and spirit, as they are all ONE.  I utilize Applied Kinesiology (AK), Contact Reflex Analysis (CRA), and to a large degree nutritional supplementation.

In order to treat the body as a whole, I sought further schooling which lead me to my passion, REFLEXOLOGY.  In 1997, I received my Certificate in the Universal Method of Foot Reflexology from the Center for Universal and Holistic Studies.  I then became Nationally Certified by the ARCB.  I've also trained with Father Joseph Eugster in the Father Joseph method of reflexology (Rwo-Shur) and the original method of LASTONE REFLEXOLOGY (trademark by Mary Hannigan).

I also offer the healing touch of REIKI.  I am a Reiki Master-Teacher trained in both the Usui and Karuna methods. Additionally, I have been trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and offer Acupuncture treatments for the treatment of disease and wellness.
